SCHOOL YEAR ENDING 2024-2025

On May 22 and 23, at Binh An and Binh Trieu centers, the 2024-2025 school year-end ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere but also filled with joy and emotion. From early morning, the students eagerly prepared, put on their neat uniforms, and looked forward to a memorable day.

The ceremony began with performances welcoming the guests. The lively songs and graceful dances of the students were like warm greetings to Sister Bich Huyen – Head of FFSC, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Phill Maclaurin – benefactors, Sisters, Teachers, Staff and volunteers. The presence of the guests contributed to the meaning of the ceremony, marking a complete school year.

One of the most anticipated moments was the awarding of prizes to students with outstanding achievements. Each eye sparkled with joy, each smile was bright as they received their awards, proving their efforts and hard work throughout a challenging school year.

Taking advantage of this sacred moment, the 5th graders – representing all of them – sent their sincere thanks to the nuns, teachers and benefactors – those who have devotedly taught, loved, and guided each step on the path of knowledge. Memories of the first days of learning to read, the times when teachers kindly taught them, all wrapped up in their emotional sharing. At the same time, the students also reminded the children to always be good, obedient, and study well to continue the good traditions of the center.

Sister Bich Huyen also, on behalf of the entire center, sent her thanks to the nuns, teachers, and benefactors who have always accompanied and supported FFSC throughout the past school year. Sister did not forget to congratulate the students for their valuable efforts and wished them a joyful and rewarding summer.

The ceremony ended with mixed emotions. The joy of a successful school year, the sadness of having to say goodbye to friends and teachers, especially the 5th graders, those who are about to embark on a new journey. The best wishes, tight hugs, and tearful eyes made the ceremony even more memorable.

The 2024-2025 school year has officially ended, but the memories, lessons, and feelings here will forever remain in everyone’s hearts. A brilliant summer awaits, and new pages of the journey are also beginning to be written!
