JOURNEY “2 DAYS 1 NIGHT” WITH LA CROIX ROUGE LA SALLE SCHOOL (BTS SN)

During the previous two days, February 24-25, the children of Binh Trieu Shelter went on a “2 days 1 night” trip to Vung city with professors and a group of “senior students” from “La Croix Rouge La Salle school, France”. 

The bus left at 8:00 a.m. to transport the students to their destination. Despite being fatigued after more than 2 hours in the car, they were overjoyed to meet everyone again and have lunch together.

Despite the scorching weather, everyone went swimming in the sea in the afternoon, but it didn’t spoil the enjoyment.  Tug of war, boat racing, passing the ball, constructing sand, and other games are played aggressively, eagerly, and joyously by everyone.The evening was a “treasure hunt” adventure with obstacles and challenges for everyone.  Overcome problems by following the map’s directions and hints to collect puzzle pieces that will take everyone to the hidden treasure. They were sweating, exhausted, and looking for alternative solutions, yet this did not deter them from persevering. At the end of the game, the children are allowed to mark their hand on the panel. After that, everyone met at the BBQ party to dance, sing, converse, and exchange gifts.

Furthermore, the school’s Astece Association donated 3,000 euros to assist FFSC’s educational operations, which is understood to be a gift from the association’s devoted patrons.  Previously, the generous benefactors contributed ten desktop computers, as well as school materials, clothing, and toys.

The kids had time to swim in the water the next morning, after Mass and breakfast. “Every joy will eventually end, every journey will have to say goodbye one day.” The Shelter’s youngsters received and rejoiced before saying their goodbyes. The “2 days 1 night” voyage concluded with numerous unforgettable experiences and lingering feelings of love.
