It is known that this is a scholarship fund sponsored by Fran and Phil since 2011. In the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, 43 students received scholarships from Mr. and Mrs. Fran – Phil. In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu represented the program to award 8 scholarships sponsored by Leon and 1 sponsored by Ms. Ba Nguyet in the US.
Sharing with the scholarship recipients, Phil wishes the students more conditions to study. It is the students who make up the success of the program. Mr. Phil suggested that we need to keep in touch with students who have received scholarships that have now come out of school, have had stable and successful jobs in life. They will share your own stories and experiences with us.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the scholarship group, the students plan a joint meeting with alumni, scheduled to be held around March 2021.
At the end of the meeting, the students lingered and chatted with Mr. and Mrs. Fran – Phil the main sponsor. Grandparents also visited and listened to the needs and difficulties of the children in learning. This is also an opportunity for students to meet and share their learning and connect with each other. One student said: “I’m very happy to receive the scholarship of the program. The money is not large but it is enough to cover tuition fees and is a source of motivation to help me try harder in my studies.
