POST-COVID-19 THINKING (Test)Bảo
The Covid-19 pandemic has caused many difficulties. It is the worry of the whole society, especially the student teachers when they have to leave school. The following is the thoughts of a teacher and some students of the Street Friends Program (FFSC).
LTS: Ms. Ho Thi Suong is currently a teacher of Binh An Center for The Development of Binh An. After nearly 4 months off due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she has returned to the center to continue her teaching work. Seeing her beloved students again, she recorded a couple of lines of thought.
On the first day of teaching again after the prolonged Covid-19 holiday, I feel very happy to see all members of the family of Binh An Center.
Recalling the past few days, I felt like life was “slowing down.” All daily activities seem to be turned upside down, teachers of students are not allowed to go to school, people limit going out when it is not necessary … The epidemic season has taken away many things but it is during this epidemic season that I and my family have been more careful in their activities, traveling, wearing masks, washing their hands often with soap is done better. Thanks to the “slow living” during the epidemic season, I have understood many meaningful things in life when the hustle and bustle of life before me was difficult to feel. During the pandemic, people have shown many beautiful actions, have a kind heart, know how to share and empathy for the common difficulties of society. The epidemic season is also an opportunity for people to limit spending on unnecessary needs due to economic difficulties and reduced incomes.
During the holidays, everyone in the family has a close time, gathering together in warm meals.
Today, as I continue with my favorite teaching, I will try to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to serve themselves. From there, they can live better, behave appropriately in daily life, especially knowing what the Sisters and girls of Binh An Center have for themselves.
I am so happy and will never forget fond memories of lovely people and a friendly working environment in a center called “Binh An”.
