AUGUST VISIT
August once again filled Binh Trieu Shelter with special joy – not only because a new school year is near, but also because of the annual visit from S.A.V.C.G Inc., a group of Australian veterans who have long faithfully accompanied the children here for many years.
From the very first moments, the children’s cheerful laughter rang out like a welcoming melody. They eagerly shared stories about the past school year full of effort, joyful activities, and even their dreams that were gradually being nurtured. The warm atmosphere made the visit feel like a true family reunion. That joy spread, making the atmosphere as warm as a family reunion.
During the heartfelt meeting, Sister Bich Huyen, Director of FFSC, expressed deep gratitude to the group. For the children, these visitors are not only benefactors but lifelong companions on their journey of learning and growth. Together, both sides reflected on the past year, honestly discussed challenges, and shared hopes for the future.
The gathering ended in a warm embrace, with sincere handshakes, wishes of peace and an affectionate promise: “We will meet again next August.” That promise is like a commitment—together to nurture and give wings to the children’s dreams.
The Friends For Street Children Program (FFSC) extends heartfelt thanks to S.A.V.C.G Inc. group. Wishing you good health, peace, and abundant joy, and hoping that this precious bond continues for many years to come.
