JOYFUL MID-AUTUMN

The “Mid-Autumn Festival” from the morning of October 5th continued until the afternoon of the same day. At Binh Trieu Center, nearly 100 children with special circumstances who were being nurtured and accompanied by the Sisters gathered here to join the Mid-Autumn Festival, organized by the Sisters of the Phu Cuong Dominican Missionary Sisters Association.

The atmosphere was “hot” from the very first minutes. A series of “unstoppable fun” games, such as blowing and passing balloons, passing rubber bands,… “professional athletes” were free to “let loose”. The smiles and cheers seemed to awaken beautiful childhood memories.

After “working out at full capacity,” the children were energized with an attractive buffet: sausages, french fries, fried chicken thighs, fried fish balls, spaghetti… every dish was “the best.”

When the afternoon sunlight was still lingering on the yard, the Moon Lady and the Jade Rabbit appeared. The star lanterns, carp, and jade rabbits shine in the sunset. The sound of the drums and the children’s innocent singing resounded loudly, spreading positive energy everywhere.

The fun ended, hoping that every child, no matter what the circumstances, could feel the love from everyone.
