CHRISTMAS JOY

In the last days of December, saigon air began to cool down, the Christmas atmosphere was buzzing, people eagerly prepared to decorate the caves, prepare cards and send words of love to relatives and friends. And FFSC’s children are just as eager, they also decorate the classroom, making simple cards to ladies, teachers and benefactors.

This year, due to the effects of the epidemic, Caritas, The Archbishop of Saigon, does not hold the “Festival of Love” as every year. However, the uncle in caritas still does not forget to send gifts to the children for Christmas.

On the afternoon of Thursday, December 17th, 2020, The Great Church of St. Joseph came to Binh Tho Center to organize Christmas activities for the children with very interesting games, interesting quiz questions that make the Christmas atmosphere even busier.

On December 20, 2020, at Binh Trieu Center, a group of young people came to live, have fun and sing with students. At the same time, the group also gave the children gifts including notebooks, toothpaste and Christmas hats. In addition, the children also received backpacks, cakes and soft drinks as gifts from the family of Dr. Christine Vinh and some other benefactors.

In the morning of December 21, 2020, at Binh An Center, Hoa Thuy Tien group organized a painting activity and gave a small gift to the students in charge of the group. They are divided into 4 groups to color their paintings, they are very excited and interested in this activity. In addition, on the morning of December 24, 2020, Ms Oanh and the volunteer group of Mother Tam Parish came to the center and gave 250 gifts to the children for Christmas, gifts including milk, confectionery and toys. Holding gifts in their hands, their eyes light up happiness.

In the afternoon of December 24, 2020, Ms. Phuong and Mr. Director of ORION FOOD VINA visited children at Binh Trieu Center. Ms. Phuong and some employees in the company made their own Christmas cards and wrote wishes to the children. She visited to ask the young people to try to study and be good. The company donates 90 boxes of company cakes and 100 small backpacks to children.

Christmas is not only an opportunity to give each other gifts but also to give love and care to share. FFSC would like to thank the benefactor for loving you and bringing the joy of Christmas to disadvantaged students. Wish you a merry Christmas and a healthy and successful New Year.
