“ADORABLE MOON”
“The gorgeous moon hangs high in the sky,
Thousands of stars celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.”
The Mid-Autumn Festival is not just a traditional festival, but also an opportunity for everyone to direct their hearts toward children, offering them joy and warmth.
Understanding this precious meaning, the Saigon Practical High School administration, esteemed teachers, and fellow students from the Literature Department’s Youth Fire Club paid a visit to Binh Trieu Shelter on Sunday (September 14, 2024) to share the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival with the children.
Everyone joined together at the start of today’s meeting to create gorgeous lanterns. When the lantern is finished, each child’s eyes reflect the excitement and happiness they experienced. The conference hall has also been “heated up” with circle activities, and the mood is getting more dynamic and enthusiastic.
Every celebration has to end, and every gathering, no matter how pleasant, must finally say farewell. Although the meeting was brief, it drew everyone closer together, and the memories of today continue to remain in each person’s memory to some degree. Furthermore, the children in the shelter have the opportunity to fully experience the actual significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Before departing, everyone took a group shot as a souvenir. The children at Binh Triệu shelter excitedly and eagerly await reunion with the esteemed teachers and fellow students from Saigon Practical High School.
Friends For Street Children Association (FFSC) expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the school administration, respected teachers, and students for providing the children with a Mid-Autumn Festival rich in love and significance. We wish you everyone good health, excitement, and plenty of energy.
