FIRST SEMESTER SUMMARIES AND WELCOME LUNAR NEW YEAR

On January 20th, 22nd, and 23rd, 2025, Bình Triệu Shelter and FFSC centers organized a summary of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and welcome Lunar New Year.

Attending the ceremony were Sister Bich Huyen – Execuitive Director , benefactors Mr. and Mrs. Frances Phil Maclaurin and Mr. Jean Jacques Richard, volunteers, staffs, teachers and more than 600 childrens.

This 1^st semester, there were about 100 childrens with good and excellent academic achievements. Through that, the Program also awarded prizes to encourage the students’ learning spirit. Well-prepared spring-themed performances by the childrens added joy and vibrancy to the event. In this festive atmosphere, Sister Bich Huyen and the center management extended New Year’s wishes to everyone.

Speech at the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Phil expressed their sincere thanks to the Sisters and teachers who have taught the children; and what is even more special is that they have had the opportunity to accompany the FFSC over the past many years. In addition, they also told the childrens to try harder in the new year and celebrate Tet with their families happily.

At the end of the ceremony, the children received lucky money  from the benefactors, and the center also distributed festive gifts to the children.

The Friends For Street Children Association (FFSC) wishes the Sisters, Teachers, benefactors, Volunteers and all the students a new year of peace, health, full of joy and all the best things will come to everyone in this new year.
