THE OPENING CEREMONY FOR THE 2024 -2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

Every year, during the late autumn days, regardless of the unexpected sun and rain, millions of children around the country enthusiastically return to school, welcoming a new school year full of enthusiasm and ambitions for exceptional results.

Students from the Friends For Street Children Association (FFSC) are no exception. The Bình Triệu Shelter’s children and students from three centers (Bình Triệu, Bình An, and Bình Thọ) solemnly held the opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The centers’ opening rituals were simple and intimate, yet they were nevertheless formal, loving, and cheerful. In addition to the esteemed teachers and volunteers at the centers, Mr. Thomas Soi, the founder of the program, Soeur. Bích Huyền, the Executive Director, Mr. Phil Maclaurin, distinguished guests from Harbour Energy, the Japan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, and local government representatives were present.

In the warm atmosphere of the school opening day, the Executive Director, Soeur. Bích Huyền, gave genuine words of love, passionate, and encouragement for the students. That is to constantly strive in your academics, as this is the quickest approach to achievement.

The creative performances welcoming the new school year, performed by the students themselves, contribute to the vibrant and pleasant environment. The lyrics and choruses swell, mingling with the children’s excitement as they go to school together. Before the event ended, the benefactors and the center presented the children with significant presents.

The school year 2024-2025 has started. It is connected with beginning on a trip to discover new knowledge that students may write about. We wish you everyone a happy new school year, full with bright, gorgeous, and unforgettable years of student life.
