CLOSING CEREMONY OF SCHOOL YEAR 2022 -2023
The closing ceremony for the 2022–2023 academic year took place this morning on May 25, at the Binh Trieu Promotion Center. The ceremony had the presence of Mr. Phil Maclaurin as the event’s donor, sisters, professors, parents, and all students of Friends For Street Children Association ( FFSC)
To welcome everyone to the occasion, students from grades 1-2 performed the dance “Country painting.” The Center’s director, Sister Thanh Xuan, reported the summary for the 2022–2023 academic year, and expressed her gratitude to the teachers for collaborating with the Center to assure the children’s bright futures. The Center’s donor, Mr. Phill, also complimented the sisters and teachers for taking care of the children’s education and congratulated the kids on finishing their studies successfully.
The moment that the children were most anticipating was when they were acknowledged for their extraordinary accomplishments. This is because it recognizes all of their hard work from the previous academic year.
At the conclusion of the event, Hong Anh, who was speaking on behalf of the fifth graders, expressed her sincere thanks to the sisters and teachers who had supported and mentored them throughout the years. The fifth-grade parents would want to use this opportunity to express their appreciation to the sisters and teachers who have given their entire hearts and souls to teaching their children.
As the ceremony came to a close, all of the pupils left with a small present from the facility while cheering and beaming. The fifth graders in particular experience nostalgia while parting with instructors and classmates.
