JUBILANTLY CELEBRATING OPENING DAY
The Friends For Street Children Association (FFSC) staged the opening ceremony for the 2023–2024 school year on the morning of September 5, joining the atmosphere of the start of a new school year across the country.
All of the children from the centers were there, as well as generous benefactors, cherished guests, teachers, the staff, and parents of the students. Mr. Thomas Soi, the program’s founder, and Mrs. Frances Maclaurin, a well-known supporter, are both welcomed at the Binh An Center.
We also welcomed Sr. Nguyen Thi Bich Huyen, as an Executive Director of FFSC, and Mr. Usui, the head of the social dedication department of the Japan Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH), following with 8 members, to the Binh Trieu Center. It is well known that JCCH funded textbooks for FFSC students this academic year.
On the first day of school, the officials and representatives from the local government also came and celebrated with the Center.
Teachers and students at FFSC appear to be more motivated as a result of the sharing, wishes, and encouragement from Sr. Bich Huyen and sponsors.
Additionally, the kids put on fantastic musical performances on their own, synchronized with one another, and produced a ceremony that was both stunning and profound.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, each kid received a small present from the center, and they all departed joyfully and happily to begin the new school year 2023–2024.
We send healthy and energetic wishes to all teachers, benefactors, volunteers and all students. Together, let’s make unceasing efforts and contributions to a successful school year.
