GRATITUDE TO TEACHERS
“Respect for religion” is a good tradition of Vietnamese national culture. Vietnam Teachers’ Day 20/11 is an opportunity for students to express their deep gratitude to their teachers. To celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, FFSC’s centers also have emulation activities as a way for students to pay tribute to their children, teachers and benefactors.
In the morning of November 19, 2020, Binh Trieu Center held a gratitude ceremony for teachers. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu – Deputy Director of the Program, Ms. Kieu Tho – in charge of education, Mr. Phil – sponsor, ladies and gentlemen of teachers, parents along with students of the center. During the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh Xuan in charge of the center sent congratulations and thanks to the sisters, teachers and benefactors who have lovingly taught the students. She commended and presented gifts to the children who achieved outstanding achievements in the movement of emulation of beautiful words, painting, storytelling, learning … Interspersed with impressive performances by students.
In the same atmosphere, a fifth grader on behalf of the students voiced his gratitude to the sisters, teachers and benefactors. Sister Anh Thu – The representative of the program also encouraged students to try to study well as a way to thank teachers. You don’t forget to thank your parents, too, for being your first teacher.
Mr. Phil is a benefactor of the center to thank you, teachers and parents. He edes the children when they have the opportunity to go to school, they must try to study well. He hopes that parents will continue to work with the school to take better care of their children’s education. At the same time, he congratulated everyone on a happy and joyful holiday. At the end of the ceremony, each child also received a small gift cake.
At Binh An Center, although not celebrating the ceremony, the ceremony atmosphere is still lively. The center has launched a movement to emulation paintings, decorate classrooms, and study. The students are actively involved and have very beautiful and meaningful works. The children go to school earlier and decorate the class by themselves, prepare small cards, write simple wishes for their teachers. Their activities are truly a meaningful spiritual gift for the Sisters and their teachers.
In the afternoon of the same day, at Binh Tho Center, the students were organized by The Great Teachers of Saigon Institute for round-the-circle activities, playing quizzes full of drama and excitement. The performances of “home plants” create a fun atmosphere. The students voiced their gratitude to you and your teachers.
