CONNECTING VIETNAM – JAPAN FRIENDSHIP
The FFSC office has long been recognized as a welcoming gathering place for Japanese women. Over the years, this venue has hosted numerous delegations from Japan, the land of cherry blossoms. Their visits aim to explore activities and support FFSC’s mission of educating and caring for underprivileged children.

Japanese women
At FFSC centers, some volunteers contribute by teaching Japanese to children and providing scholarships for those facing financial hardships. Annually, a team of Japanese dentists visits to offer dental check-ups to the children, ensuring their health and well-being.
At the FFSC office specifically, three Japanese women are actively engaged in volunteer work such as welcoming guests, responding to correspondence, translating documents, and preparing newsletters. While their tasks may seem routine, they approach them with exceptional care and dedication.
Additionally, they have contributed books and newspapers to establish a small library within the office, creating a space for book exchanges and showcasing FFSC’s products. Despite the differences in language and culture, these educators are consistently amicable, approachable, and passionate about Vietnamese cuisine.
FFSC sincerely appreciates the generosity and dedication of benefactors from Japan. We hope you will continue to nurture the Vietnam-Japan friendship and join us in supporting and educating disadvantaged children.
