VIBRANT SPRING COLORS

In the vibrant atmosphere of the days welcoming spring, on February 5–6, the Binh Trieu and Binh An Centers came together to organize the Spring Celebration for the Lunar New Year.

The program was a warm and meaningful gathering with the presence of the Sisters, teachers, long-standing benefactors, volunteers, and all the students currently studying at the two centers. Every smile and every New Year greeting contributed to creating a family-like, caring, and intimate atmosphere.

The program opened with familiar sacred hymns, “Prayer of Peace” and “Divine Offering.” Their gentle yet profound melodies resonated as prayers of gratitude and supplication at the beginning of the new year.

Following this were Spring-themed performances presented by the students themselves, carrying the spirit of Tết — lively, innocent, and full of vitality. Though still a little shy and imperfect, each performance reflected great effort, joy in self-expression, and the happiness of being loved.

During the New Year wishes, the Sister in charge extended heartfelt Tet greetings and tokens of appreciation to the guests and teachers, as a sincere expression of gratitude for their quiet yet steadfast companionship over time. In return, the guests offered warm wishes to the Sisters, teachers, and students, sharing their trust and hope for a bright and promising new year.

And then came the most anticipated moment — when the children received their lucky money and Spring gifts. The red envelopes did not only bring festive joy, but also carried care, affection, and wishes of peace for each child.

The program concluded with the children leaving in cheerful laughter and warm hearts, leaving behind the lingering spirit of a Spring celebration filled with compassion and human connection — a gentle and hopeful beginning to the new year at the Binh Trieu and Binh An Centers.
