2019-2020 School Year Summary Ceremony
In the morning of July 24, 2020, Binh Tho Center held a final ceremony of the 2019-2020 school year for 86 students. Attending the ceremony, in addition to the teachers and students of the center, there were Ms. Le Thi Thao, head of the program, Mr. David Kennedy Director of Premier Oil Company and 7 employees, 2 teachers volunteering to teach English, Japanese, Anh Vinh representing Koikeya company.
Sister Vu Thi Khuong reports the students’ learning results. Due to the impact of COVID–19, the center’s activities have changed, semester II of the school year must last until 24/07/2020. However, the center still fully implements the student’s program.
In terms of health, the children are given worms, instructed how to keep hygiene to avoid epidemics. The Center has presented awards to students who have achieved good academic achievements, and have actively participated in the center’s artistic emulation movements. A fifth-grader expressed gratitude to the sisters, teachers of the center, and donors.
Mr. David Director of Premier Oil company welcomed the students of the center and reminded them to always try to study well. The company gave each of them a gift that was some comic book. In addition, each student was given a briefcase by PIS, Koikeya company gave them snacks.
The atmosphere of the ceremony was more exciting thanks to the performances of the students and the fun activities of Premier Oil’s employees.
At the end of the ceremony, Sister Khuong thanked her, teachers, volunteers, donors and wished the students a happy summer.
