CLOSING CEREMONY AT BINH TRIEU SHELTER FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2022-2023
On the afternoon of May 28, Binh Trieu Shelter hosted a closing ceremony for the school year 2022-2023, with a friendly atmosphere at the center.
At the beginning of the program, Sr Bich Huyen, the Executive Director, presented the distinguished guests of the Shelter, such as all of the Sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Frances – Phil Maclaurin who are extremely familiar with the children; Quoc Phuong’s family, and all the volunteers.
Simultaneously, Sr Bich Huyen conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the benefactors and volunteers who have always supported, aided, and accompanied the Friends for Street Children Association (FFSC) in caring for the children.
Furthermore, Mr. and Mrs. Frances – Phil thanked all sisters and teachers who have always loved and educated the children; he also reminded the children that staying in Binh Trieu Shelter is a good opportunity to study, so the kids must appreciate and strive to learn more in order to have a better future.
All of the youngsters from Binh Trieu Shelter performed “home-grown performances.” The juniors’ rendition of the traditional dance “Pokemon” was the most lovely and endearing. The seniors also “burned up” the entire auditorium with “Bombastic.”
Everyone was nervous and apprehensive when it came to the awards part. Every student’s name had been called with “remarkable” achievements: exceptional, excellent, good, and even prizes for the four most docile and obedient children.
Laughter, applauding, and singing contributed to a meaningful ceremony filled with pleasure and happiness. At the end of the ceremony, everyone snapped a memento snapshot and gathered for the Agape celebration.
